A strange gasoline milestone
By Todd Kunz
IDAHO FALLS - The big story everyone is talking about around Eastern Idaho is the price of gas.
Gas prices in our area have been tumbling over the past couple of months, and they've finally hit a milestone. Earlier Tuesday, we spotted two gas stations with prices under two bucks. The Albertson's gas station on the corner of Hitt Road and 17th in Idaho Falls was at a $1.99, while the Maverick station on the corner of First Street and Woodruff had dropped to a $1.97. These prices are more than a dollar less than the average in our area just one month ago... back then the price was $3.18 a gallon. |
