Does it Really Work? - Power Poker & Saw

"Does it Really Work" has had quite the Halloween theme this month. I've got one more product to test out. Let's find out if the Power Poker and Saw really works.

The last couple weeks have not been the best when it comes to pumpkins. Hoping to redeem myself, this week we'll try out the Power Poker and Saw, a battery powered pumpkin carver.

First things first. Cutting the top then cleaning out the insides.

While last week's product is kid friendly, the Power Saw most definitely is not.

As for patterns, the selection for the Power Poker and Saw wasn't too great. We'll go with the face, appropriately titled, "A Wink and a Smile." The product lets you switch out the instruments. Just make sure you take out the batteries so you don't hurt yourself.

The first step it to transfer the pattern using the poker. The switch out was pretty easy and it's time to carve.

I was nervous I was going to break something, but I started out on a positive note.

Things are going smoothly.. For the most part.

"I've already bent it a little bit. But oh well," says Tommy Noel.

The carving went well. But the sound reminded me of a dentists office. After about 20 minutes of carving, my masterpiece is complete.

"I'm so happy with this one. And I had fun too. And I didn't break anything," says Tommy.

I'm pleased, but what will my co-workers think?

"It's the best thing I've ever seen you do," says Ted Dawson.

I don't think that was a compliment.

"Wow. You actually did a really good job on it. How did you do that, you're not that good," says Chris Shumate.

"He looks like you," says Angie Smith.

"This one is the best I've tried out of the three. I was very impressed," says Tommy.

Turning to the Spud-o-Meter.

"I would give it a four. It's reasonably priced, it's fun. It looks pretty good. Just wish it had more patterns with it," says Tommy.
