Last week you saw me embarrass myself with a pumpkin carving kit. This week's pumpkin kit is for kids, so it's gotta be easier, right?! Let's find out if the Fright Light really works.

The Deluxe Fright Light uses colored pegs to decorate and light up a pumpkin. Our tester- Say hello to Hailey.

The kit comes with three patterns. Stars, a face, and a bat.

"I wanna do the bat," says Hailey.

Even though the kit is made for kids, there are plenty of adult jobs, like cutting out the pattern.

The pattern is placed on the pumpkin, and through my slight frustration, I really need to watch my language in front of a three-year-old.

"Dang it," says Tommy Noel.
"Stop saying that word," says Hailey.

Hailey sent me to a quick time out and now, using the pattern I punched holes, another somewhat difficult adult job. I hope Hailey doesn't lose interest soon.

Finally Hailey gets a turn at her pumpkin and she hammers away at the pegs.

"You having fun," asks Tommy.
"Yeah," replies Hailey.

"Last one. Does it look like a bat," asks Tommy.
"No. Not yet," says Hailey.

The bat's done, but the product also comes with some cool special shapes to add to your design. The kit comes with a light, just add a 9 volt battery. Hailey is satisfied with her work of art.

"I see the bat light up," says Hailey.
"How does it look," asks Tommy.
"Good," replies Hailey.

Hailey was so proud, she wanted to display her pumpkin outside. Time for the official pumpkin kit review from Hailey.

"What was your favorite part," asks Tommy.
"Hammering it," replies Hailey.
"Was it easy or hard," asks Tommy.
"It was easy," replies Hailey.

And finally, how do you explain the Spud-o-Meter to a three year old?

"And I would give it a 2, a 3, a 4, and 5, and a 20."
