Long trips in the car to grandma's house can be tough on the kids, even us older ones. So why not take a nap?!

In this edition of Does it Really Work, I tried out the Sleep Posture Pillow. It's supposed to help you fall asleep in a car.

"I've been sleeping in the car since I was an infant," says Eric Gomez.

It doesn't take much for Channel 3 Employee Eric Gomez to fall asleep.

"I'm the one who can fall asleep to the radio or TV," says Eric.

So when I presented the idea of a pillow for use in a car, Eric felt a nap come on.

"Holy cow. This is big. This is my type of pillow," says Eric.

It's big and it looks strange. If fact my co-workers said it looked like: a candy cane, an elephant, the letter J, a question mark, or Gonzo.

"Oh. I could see how this could work pretty good," says Eric.

Without further ado, it's siesta time. Since this isn't your typical pillow, this is a new experience.

"I'm trying this out here. Getting comfortable," says Eric.

But quickly, Eric noticed the advantages.

"I like having the thing in the back because it does keep my back straight, not too much pressure. But yeah, this is comfortable," says Eric.

Since there's more room in the front seat, and you can recline, we had Eric jump into the passenger seat.

"So now, different kind of seat. Oh yeah. That's better. If you spend a lot of time in a vehicle and you're not driving or have the option not to drive, yes. " says Eric.

So site workers or those heading out for summer vacation may find some use in this pillow. Just watch out for the awkward stares.

"Maybe being made fun of carrying your pillow into your site once you've slept," says Eric.

Turning to the Spud-o-Meter...

"I would rate this probably a 3.75. Just under 4. Because of cost," says Eric.

The 60 dollar price tag might cause your naps to be a little expensive. But cost aside, Eric seems to like this thing.

"Wake up!"

"Yeah! I'm ready to go back to work. You sure you don't wanna go on another ride," asks Eric.

Wouldn't it be so nice to actually sleep on the job?!
