Does it Really Work? - Windshield Wonder

With our recent sunny days, you may have noticed just how dirty your windows are, especially in your car.

Tommy tries out the Windshield Wonder in this edition of 'Does it Really Work?'

Infomercial: "If you think cleaning a windshield is just out of reach, you need the Windshield Wonder."

What's up with all these products with the word "Wonder" in their name. We had the Wonder Vase, then the Wonder Hanger, now it's time for the Windshield Wonder.

We wondered if it works, so we stopped by Rad Auto Detail to find out.

"Windows are lame. I'd rather do anything on a detail besides windows," says Robert Montague.

Robert's 1964 Chevelle Malibu will get the royal treatment, well, at least the windows will.

"It's kinda like Christmas, you get to test out a new toy," says Robert.

The Windshield Wonder comes with a spray bottle and the instructions say to fill it with just water.

Infomercial: "You don't even need glass cleaner."

The product is for those hard to reach spots inside your car, so Robert did a quick wipe down of the outside, then...

"You just mist the sponge," says Robert.

And soon all of our wonders would be answered...

"You know what, it actually works pretty good," says Robert.

So far so good, Robert may have found a new tool for his detail shop.

"Yeah, that's working good, no streaks," says Robert.

After a quick examination, we notice how clean and clear the windshield is.

"Sweeeeeeet," says Robert.

To mix things up, we had Robert try the Windshield Wonder on our KIDK news car, which by the way, was a lot dirtier!

"Yeah, that works great," says Robert.

We wonder what Robert will give this product on the Spud-O-Meter.

"I would give it a four. You have this angle so you can get down into the windshield, instead of dragging your knuckles on the bottom of the dash. No complaints. I'll probably go grab one actually." says Robert.

And you can grab one too. You can buy it at Walgreen's for $10.
