Does it Really Work? - WonderVase
By Tommy Noel
With the cold and dreary weather we've had recently, we want to cheer you up with some flowers.
Well, at least a place to display those flowers. Today, Eyewitness News Reporter Tommy Noel tries out another product in Does it Really Work? Infomercial: "The Wondervase. It's the amazing vase you can shape." For this week's edition, we headed over to Staker Floral to find out just how amazing it is. The directions are simple, in fact, they all fit on the back of the package. "Rinse and fill wonder vase with warm water... Form vase into any shape... There. How about that," says Robyn Tracy. Infomercial: "You'll go from this to that in no time flat." The so called shapeable vase didn't do what we wanted it to. "It didn't really mold like it said it would... At all," says Robyn. Infomercial: "It looks as beautiful as blown glass." "What do you think," asks Tommy. "I think it does not look like glass," says Robyn. Even tying on a ribbon didn't help much. "It felt a little clumsy," says Robyn. While Robyn says she wouldn't use the Wondervase as a florist, some still might find it useful. "It would be nice to have at home. If you don't want to store a vase," says Robyn. We let Robyn rate to vase on our Spud-o-Meter. "I would give it a 3," says Robyn. We picked up a package of 3 WonderVases for $10, over at Linens 'N Things. Starting next week and throughout the entire month of May, we will count down the top 4 most requested products for Does it Really Work? You won't want to miss it! |
