If you travel a lot, then you've probably already experienced delays.
KIDK Newswatch 3's Araksya Karapetyan, had a tough time coming back to Idaho Falls.

Araksya Karapetyan:: "Well, lets just say I've been trying to get back to Idaho Falls since yesterday. I boarded my flight, but after two hours we were told the door wouldn't shut. So I was offered the option of connected through Boise with a seven hour layover; instead choose to take an early morning flight out of LAX, but that plane took off late, making me miss my connection. Basically from a first hand experience, if you're planning to travel, especially this Labor Day weekend, you better have lots of patience and be ready for a long trip.

Traveling isn't as easy or fun like it used to be. Now there's lots of waiting, lots of lines, and plenty of re-arranging.

Tom DePaolo, frequent traveler: "Flight more croweded always lots of delays, crews often surly."
"I asked to move on row today, two empty seats in front of me, and I was told I shouldn't because the weights and balances have been established."

Most of the people I spoke with have a lot of say about the poor quality of airlines services these days.

Justin Monnett, traveler: "When we took off from Vegas real rainy and they soaked luggage as soon as got here started cleaning clothes so wouldn't mold."
"Left it sitting out in rain."
"Couldn't even get through customer service so not real happy."

DePaolo: "This is a brand new bag never used it goes to plane comes off like that, it's like they drive trucks over them"
"My property expect it to come back reasonable how I gave it to them."
"No excuse for surly service."

The FAA says when it comes to delays it's gonna get a lot worse.
Especially for big weekends like this coming weekend, so be ready.

Lots of people I spoke to say they try to pack light just so they don't have to check their bags, risk losing them, or missing a connection.
In fact, I am one of those people. As hard as it was I packed light, to make sure I wouldn't deal with the headache and be even more late for work than I already was.
