IDAHO FALLS - An Idaho Falls man was found guilty of injury to a child, causing harm and was sentenced to ten years in prison Monday.

23-year old Brad Zsadanyi was found guilty of causing harm to his baby boy Jacob. He was diagnosed with shaken baby syndrome.

Jacob's mother spoke in court today on behalf of Zsadanyi saying he would never intentionally hurt their son and he needs medical help.

Back in April Zsadanyi told police he was alone with Jacob, but did not know how he became hurt.

Today, state prosecutor, Dane Watkins, described baby Jacob's injuries as if he fell from a two or three story building.

The first seven years of Zsadanyi's sentencing are fixed.

Wind Farms

The wind turbines lining the foothills east of Idaho Falls are getting a lot of attention. What do you think about the wind farms?

  • They're too close to residential areas and they're lowering property values. They're ruining the view. Build them somewhere else!
  • They provide clean energy, and they generate local jobs and tax revenue. They're the wave of the future. Welcome to town!
  • Not sure.
