POCATELLO - Two dozen people are expected to brave the snow and spend the night in Caldwell Park.

The annual encampment of cardboard homes is a fundraiser for Aid For Friends.

They also collect clothing and blankets to use at the shelter.

The main purpose of the unusual accommodations is to remind people that the homeless need help. BJ Stensland, Aid For Friends Director said, "We have camaraderie, we're working together on a common project, it's really, really a lot of fun. We train them so that they come away with a little more education."

About 25 people are staying in the Aid For Friends shelter right now.
