OSGOOD - A burglar gets away with at least 11-thousand dollars in goods after breaking into the Osgood Store in Bonneville County.

Officers say the suspect stole more than 63 cartons of cigarettes, more than 120 cans of chewing tobacco, lottery tickets, candy, beer, wine, ice cream, and some other items.

A few hours after the burglary, a man pulled up to Dad's Truck Stop south of Idaho Falls in a dark two-door car. Inside the store, he cashed some of the stolen lottery tickets. He was last seen on the surveillance camera wearing black shoes, dark pants, and a dark hoodie.

If you have any information about the burglary, please call the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office at 529-1200.

This week Gov. Otter signed a bill requiring Idaho to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform. What's your response to this?

  • It's great to see Idaho taking the lead on this. Someone has to stand up to what's happening in Washington.
  • We can't afford to pay for education in Idaho, but we're going to spend tax dollars to sue the feds? Ridiculous.
  • Not sure.
