POCATELLO - Dozens of people attended a fundraiser Saturday morning for the allegedly vicious dogs being held at the Pocatello Animal Shelter.

Voices for the Animals is raising money to pay for some of the expense of keeping the dogs at the shelter.

They served chili, and hot dogs, and even held a raffle inside Merlin's Insulation. Susan Roper, who has had a dog at the shelter for six months said, "I'm not fighting the system alone. In the beginning it was me fighting the system, now it's everybody fighting the system."

The fundraiser is also a chance for people to talk with Mayor-elect Brian Blad who supports a change to the vicious animal ordinance.
