Idaho Falls - A meteor lit up the night skies over most of Idaho, Utah and Wyoming early Wednesday morning.

Eyewitness News spoke to police dispatchers from Fremont County and Bear Lake County who reported seeing the object in the night sky.

Residents from Idaho and Utah also reported seeing a flash so bright that it lit up the entire sky for a few seconds.

And in Utah, some reported feeling a slight rumbling after the flash.
