Holiday boutique to help local veterans
By Wes Horrocks
POCATELLO - The American Legion Auxiliary is holding their annual Holiday Gift Boutique this weekend.
You can peruse jewelry, hand-made hats and blankets, bags, and dozens of other items from 24 different vendors. The sale raises money for the Auxiliary to support local veterans, and send items like coupons to those serving overseas. Barbara Wadlow, Pocatello American Legion Auxiliary President said, "To help somebody, especially the veterans who have given so much to us, some of them paid the greatest price for us, and to be able to give back a little bit to them that's what it's all about." The boutique is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Bannock County Veterans Memorial Building. |
