POCATELLO - If you're eager to hit the slopes, Pocatello is the place to be this weekend.

The annual Snow Expo/Ski Swap is being held in the Pond Student Union at Idaho State University.

There are racks of clothes and boots, along with boards and skis.

Organizers have seen an increase of traffic this year as more people are out looking for a bargain.

And there are plenty of people to help you find the best gear. Mike Collaer, Co-Swap Chair said, "This has taken a lot of volunteers. All of them are volunteers that are working here. All of the organizations here are providing about 20-25 people."

The Swap will be open Sunday November 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This week Gov. Otter signed a bill requiring Idaho to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform. What's your response to this?

  • It's great to see Idaho taking the lead on this. Someone has to stand up to what's happening in Washington.
  • We can't afford to pay for education in Idaho, but we're going to spend tax dollars to sue the feds? Ridiculous.
  • Not sure.
