Local woman charged with theft for allegedly taking a coin collection

POCATELLO - A Chubbuck woman is picked up on a warrant, and is now facing a charge of felony grand theft.

21-year-old Lynnette Norton allegedly broke into a home in July, and stole a coin collection worth nearly $5,000.

When she was taken to the Bannock County Jail on an unrelated charge officers followed up with her on theft which leading to the charges.

The collection was stolen from a home along Melrose St.

No word on whether it has been recovered.
