Rumors fuel investigation of death in St. AnthonyBy Jennifer McGraw
ST. ANTHONY - Rumors have fueled a full investigation of the death of a 19-year-old from St. Anthony.
The teen rolled his car over the weekend and now rumors are spreading that an altercation may have led to his death. "The pain is tremendous. Dalin was a very, very, very good young man. He did not deserve this," says Kendra Beddes, Dalin's sister. 19-year-old Dalin Waddell died Saturday night from his injuries sustained in a tragic car accident earlier in the day. After the shock of his death, new details and incriminating allegations spread like wildfire. "A lot of rumors are flying around over this, there was a fight and what we're investigating is, whether or not anything related to the fight could've been relative to the traffic accident itself," says Sheriff Len Humphries, Fremont County. After the fight broke out late Friday night, Dalin drove off and was later found ejected out of his car lying in a ditch. As friends and family try to mourn their loss, rumors of foul play continue to stir up controversy. "He's a very loyal friend to all of you and he would do anything for any of you. He would have your backs. We do want the violence to stop. We want justice to be served and if you kids loved Dalin like you say you do, please make it right," says Kendra. As investigators continue to unravel what happened that Saturday night, the question still remains, could someone have caused this? "Most of the things we're being told about are just rumor. A lot of what's being said is not true," says Sheriff Humphries. Due to this ongoing investigation, Fremont County Sheriff's Office cannot tell us exactly what happened, but did say that in order for this to be considered foul play, Dalin's injuries would have to be proven deadly before the crash ever took place. "The people that were involved, they won't be able to live with themselves you know. Make it right. Really, make it right. Dalin needs to rest in peace he does," says Kendra. |
