ROBERTS - "Hello, Lucy's"

That sound means the new pizzeria is open for business.

"Order up1"

And yes hundreds already have. The small town of Roberts has new big idea, an authentic style straight from the Northeast, New York Style Pizza!

"Which is something you really don't see around here. A lot of places claim they have it, but it's just not the same," says Timothy Wright, Lucy's Pizzeria partner.

What exactly is New York Style Pizza?

"I would tell you the secrets, but I'm not allowed too," says Wright.

But here's the basics... It's thin awesome crust and really good cheese.

Topped with anything you want.

"Take a bite and it savors. There's a lot of flavor," says Lynette Steiner.

Meet the crew behind it all.

"Being the best pizzeria doesn't come easy. You have to have a lot of passion for it and also have the right group of people that you're working with. Brian and tim have been a pleasant surprise. It's sort of like the right ingredients as far as people coming together is just as important as the right ingredients you put on the pizza," says Richie Franco, Lucy's Pizzeria partner.

Combined with a passion for food and a few secret family recipes, these men in Roberts are creating a pizza frenzie.

"The best pizza I ever had."

"They toss it in the air and it's fun to watch them make it."

"i'm a long way from home and this is well worth the trip."

I like it a lot. I say if I have one bite, i'm already in pizza heaven, I don't know I just love it.

And bite after bite, they keep coming back.

"It's been interesting to see people's reaction to the pizza, especially in a small town like Roberts Idaho," says Brian Padigimus, Lucy's Pizzeria partner.

One big idea, all the way from the Northeast, to bring dinner to your family.

Another interesting fact, Lucy's was named after a 14-year-old family bulldog.

Lucy's is near Bj's bayou in Roberts. It's open for lunch and dinner Monday through Sunday.
