IDAHO FALLS - First lady Michelle Obama assists Idaho's community help centers.
She announced the release of more than 6-point-5 million dollars from Recovery Act to upgrade and expand community health centers.
The changes will help The Community Family Clinic in Idaho Falls, Roberts and Blackfoot.
"We can expand our services. We can hire an additional provider to provide more quality medical care. We can expand our hours and our days," says Arnold Cantu.
Although the Idaho Falls clinic is open five days a week, the Roberts and Blackfoot clinics are only open two days a week.
That will soon change to four days a week thanks to the extra funding.
The money will also help the clinic provide dental care at a reduced cost for it's uninsured patients.
