Several local agencies searching for missing boater

BINGHAM COUNTY - Officials from the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a missing boat and driver.

Dispatch received a call Sunday regarding Charles Knipp and his black and red Skeeter Bass Boat.

Knipp has not been seen since Saturday. Knipp's pickup and boat trailer were later found in the Sportsmans Park parking lot. He launched from this area of the American Falls Reservoir.

The search for Knipp began again at 10:00 Monday morning.

Agencies from Bingham County, Bonneville County, Power County, Fort Hall Fish and Game, Jefferson County and the Civil Air Patrol will be involved.

If anyone has seen this boat or knows of Knipp's whereabouts, contact the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office at 785-1234.
