SUGAR CITY - An accident in Madison County takes the life of a Utah teen.

It happened just north of Sugar City on Highway 20. Kristan Lusvardi of Provo, Utah was driving east on the highway when her car drifted through the median and into the westbound lanes. The car then crashed into a ditch.

She was airlifted to EIRMC and later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Alcohol and drugs are believed to be a factor in the crash. The investigation is on going.
