National food drive day
IDAHO FALLS - The Idaho Falls Mayor signed a proclamation for National Food Drive Day. The food drive is this coming Saturday.

Its being put on by the National Association of Letter Carriers. Local postal workers will be picking up your canned food donations when they deliver your mail.

Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership will sort and deliver the donations to 13 area food banks. This year they've seen the number of needy families double.

Attending the fair

The Eastern Idaho State Fair runs September 4-11. Yes or no--will you go?
