Road construction will cause delays on two highways
By Tommy Noel
EAST IDAHO - As the weather warms up, one thing is for certain each and every year - road construction. We want to let you know about some road work that will cause delays.
First off, you can expect 15 minute delays on Highway 26 from Clark Hill east of Ririe to the Swan Valley Bridge. Travel will be reduced to one lane for this 12 mile stretch of highway. Crews will repave the road between 7 am and 7 pm weekdays until September. Plan your trip accordingly and slow down in this area. Also, road construction will affect drivers on Highway 20-26. Crews are repaving 19 miles of road between Butte City and the INL. You can expect 15 minute delays here as well as traffic will be reduced to one lane from 7 in the morning until 7 at night. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zones. This project should also be completed by September. |
