POCATELLO - The windy weather uprooted a large tree on Fremont crashing into power lines and knocking out the power for area residents.

Nearly 150 customers lost power in the area of north 15th through 17th Street and Chase and East Fremont.

Crews came out to work on the lines, restoring power to nearly 100 people, but they don't know yet how long it will take until all power comes back on.

This week Gov. Otter signed a bill requiring Idaho to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform. What's your response to this?

  • It's great to see Idaho taking the lead on this. Someone has to stand up to what's happening in Washington.
  • We can't afford to pay for education in Idaho, but we're going to spend tax dollars to sue the feds? Ridiculous.
  • Not sure.
