Amazing Race Local Casting Call

IDAHO FALLS - We've received a lot of questions via e-mail and phone regarding the Amazing Race Casting Call.

Click the video link to watch a quick update on the preparations for the big day.

The Casting Call is Saturday, March 14th from noon until 2pm at the Idaho Falls Hampton Inn at 2500 Channing Way.

Before Saturday, read over the eligibility requirements found here:

http://www.cbs.com/casting/amazing_race/Eligibility_Requirements.pdf

then print and FILL OUT the application found here:

http://www.cbs.com/casting/amazing_race/Application_Form.pdf

You will save yourself a lot of time if you have your applications completed in time of the Casting Call.  The application is 13 pages long.  EACH team member must turn in a separate application.

When you arrive at the Hampton, be ready to record a two minute audition on tape.  Tell us who you are, why you'd be the perfect contestants, and any other fun information you'd think would impress CBS officials.  Just be yourself and have fun!  You only get one take, so practice your audition before Saturday!

No CBS Network personnel will be at the auditions. The Idaho Falls Casting Call is the first and preliminary step in the process. All applicants must be at least 21 years old. CBS will notify all finalists. Those who crave adventure and love to travel, this Casting Call may lead to the chance of a lifetime.

Come one, come all! It's a race to the finish!

Wind Farms

The wind turbines lining the foothills east of Idaho Falls are getting a lot of attention. What do you think about the wind farms?

  • They're too close to residential areas and they're lowering property values. They're ruining the view. Build them somewhere else!
  • They provide clean energy, and they generate local jobs and tax revenue. They're the wave of the future. Welcome to town!
  • Not sure.
