IDAHO FALLS - "Seeing the real artifacts and seeing these items that somebody actually carried onto the ship is pretty exciting to see," says Shelly Smede.

Come aboard the Titanic for a voyage of a lifetime. The moment captured in time, taking visitors on a journey through the tales and legends from the life on board to the depths of the sea.

"The ship itself was a true marvel of twentieth century technological invention. The likes the world has never seen," says John Jacob Astor, an actor for tonight's event.

A ship that defied logic, an unsinkable ship with more luxuries than the grandest of hotels.

"It's beautiful, it's wonderful, a great tribute," says Jeremy Krupp.

For 73-years the remains of the ship were lost two and a half miles deep on the bottom of the Atlantic. Now they're preserved in cases to bring you the stories from the ship.

"It shows the differences between the lifestyles of the rich and the other passengers," says Astor.

The exhibit actually allows you experience what it was like staying in the first class cabin or even the third. With an extra flare added just for tonight.

"We actually went and got food in first class and then went and got drinks in third," says Phil Breideneach, third class passenger.

"As much as the artifacts are really impressive, actually watching the animations and recreations of what actually happened and it put you in the place in time of Titanic and it's pretty scary," says Steve Smede, a first class passenger for tonight's event.

"They did a pretty good job preserving their memories," says Krupp.

"We love this exhibit. It's a real honor to have it in Idaho Falls," says Kenneth Taylor, with the Idaho Falls City Council.
