INKOM - Charges have been filed against a man accused of abandoning dogs at a residence in Inkom.

52-year-old Robert Joseph Ives is charged with 13 counts of animal neglect.

The animals were found by sheriff's deputies after a neighbor called worried he hadn't seen anyone at the home for weeks.

At least three dogs has been eaten by the others.

Ives will be in court for his arraignment on February 19th.

If convicted he could face jail time and thousands of dollars in fines.
