First baby of 2009 for Bonneville County

IDAHO FALLS - As the rest of us watched the clock tick while counting down to 2009, Stephanie and Devin King had another countdown on their mind.

"We were just watching the contractions getting excited the further she got along," says Devin King.

But it was a long night for the couple whose baby girl didn't arrive until this morning. Karinne King was born at 10:10 A.M., weighing in at seven pounds 10 ounces.

"I wasn't having a good time until she came," says Stephanie King.

The beautiful & healthy baby girl is the first baby of 2009 for Bonneville County.

"I was the only person in labor," says Stephanie.

Although their new year's eve was a little different from the rest, it was a night to remember for the happy parents. Their third and possibly final child was their perfect holiday present. Making their family,

"Complete," says Stephanie.

"It was an awesome night, probably the best news years I've ever had," says Devin.
