IDAHO FALLS - This afternoon, Richard Lee Rash's family and friends got together at the Bowl-ero lanes, to "Bowl for a Cause."
Rash was left in a coma, following an accident in October, now he's in intensive care at EIRMC.
The money raised will help pay Rash's medical bills.
For this special event, bowl-ero lowered their fees to just three dollars per game, and even offered free shoes.
"Cheap entertainment if you will, at three dollars a game and going to a good cause. so we figured that would relieve some of the stresses outside of work and as far as what's going on around us and do it for a good cause and have fun while doing it," says Chad Fairchild, Rash's cousin.
Donations can still be dropped off at a Wells Fargo Bank.

This week Gov. Otter signed a bill requiring Idaho to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform. What's your response to this?

  • It's great to see Idaho taking the lead on this. Someone has to stand up to what's happening in Washington.
  • We can't afford to pay for education in Idaho, but we're going to spend tax dollars to sue the feds? Ridiculous.
  • Not sure.
