Friday morning the FBI told Eyewitness News, the suspicious powder at Temple Square and in Los Angeles is a non-toxic substance. We spent the day at both the Idaho Falls and Rexburg temples, and at both places, dozens of people were still going in.

"Life goes on, I'm headed to the Temple right now," says Trevor Steiner.

He isn't the only one headed to Temple.

"It brings me peace and joy to go to the temple," says Steiner. "I know we'll be blessed for doing it."

Security cameras and fences surround the Temples in Idaho Falls and Rexburg. We called LDS Headquarters in Salt Lake City to ask about local security measures. The Church declined to comment.

On Thursday, an envelope with a suspicious white powder was found in Temple Square. The same thing happened at the Temple in Westwood, California just outside of Los Angeles.

"When we hear about things like this it brings fear," says Steiner.

For Bonnie Kirkpatrick, her family in Utah told her they're very concerned.

"They're just worried about it, worried about security," says Bonnie Kirkpatrick.

"But, the best place to go is to the Temple," says Steiner.

"I think that everyone has a right to voice their own opinion, I think some people are more radical than others," says Kirkpatrick.

The FBI hasn't linked yesterday's activity to any specific group or cause. But, the Church has been the target of protests since California passed Proposition 8 to ban gay marriage.

Friday, the First Presidency issued this statement saying "...some of what we have seen since Californians voted to pass Proposition 8 has been deeply disappointing."

"I still probably would have gone to the Salt Lake Temple if I was in Utah," says Steiner.

Many are hoping these two incidences are isolated.

"I hope it is, I hope that everyone will realize that we love them and its just different beliefs that we have," says Kirkpatrick.

We called the FBI office in Salt Lake City to see if there has been any other Temples targeted, we're told investigators are treating this with a great deal of caution.

And they are keeping an eye open for other incidents, but they wouldn't say if they're focusing on specific Temples.
