UPDATE: Cause of Mobile Home Fire in Ammon

AMMON - We now know the cause of the trailor fire in Ammon from Saturday night.
Turns out, a pan of cooking oil was left on the stove. Just after 8:30 PM, firefighters responded to 705 Eve Drive at the Mobile Home Estates. When they got there, the fire was fully involved, smoke was coming out of the front door, the living room, and kitchen windows. But, they were able to quickly get it under control and remove most of the contents from the kitchen and the living room. The damage, is estimated to be around $16,000. As for the occupants of that trailor, the Red Cross has up them up in a motel in the area. |
