BOISE - The Treasure Valley was glad to welcome former presidential candidate Mitt Romney as he gave his endorsement for senate candidate Jim Risch in Boise today.

Among a large number of Risch supporters, Mitt Romney entered the room to a thunderous ovation from the Boise crowd.

"I had the chance of being a governor of a state and serving at the same time Jim Risch was serving. And something that was said today earlier has stuck in my mind. He got more done in 7 months as your governor than most governors did in two terms," said Romney.

Risch and Romney took a number of questions from the press on a variety of issues including the upcoming presidential election, the economy, Wall Street and imigration among others.

"I'm so glad to have Mitt here and I'm glad he was able to come say those nice things about Vicki and I. And if I'm elected to the United States Senate, Mitt, I won't let you down and I won't let down the good people in the great state of Idaho," said Risch.
