Drowning Victim's Body Discovered

MASSACRE ROCKS - A drowning victims' body has been found at Massacre Rocks.

Kord Peterson's body was discovered by some boaters around 1pm Tuesday afternoon. The discovery was made in the Snake River near Massacre Rocks State Park.

The Search for Peterson began June 27th. He reportedly drowned while jumping off rocks at the state park. The search has been on-going, but efforts were cut down when his body was not discovered within a week.

Tuesday, Power County Sheriff's Office and park officials assisted with the recovery.

Peterson's body has been taken to the Colonial Funeral Home in Pocatello.
