BINGHAM COUNTY - Deputies from the Bingham County Sheriff's Office were dispatched Monday to a house near Firth.

The initial call was for a suicidal person.

When they arrived, deputies found the body of 45-year-old Greg Porter.

After interviewing Porter's wife, Dorthy, detectives from Bingham County and the Blackfoot Police Department determined this was a homicide, and not a suicide.

52-year-old Dorthy Porter was arrested and put in the Bingham County Jail.

She is charged with homicide and possession of a firearm. She will be arraigned in court Tuesday afternoon.

There have been no previous calls to this home, involving this couple.
