Police: Man Leaves Toddler In Car To Watch Batman

SOUTH SALT LAKE CITY, UT - A man in Salt Lake City is facing felony charges for leaving a toddler in his car at the theater while he watched 'Batman; The Dark Knight.'
The man went to the movie at 11:30pm Saturday. Around 1:30am in the morning, another person noticed the two-year-old crying and sweating inside the car. Police say the temperature inside the car was about 87 degrees. They rescued the boy, then went into the theater and arrested David James Farnham. He is booked on suspected felony child abuse. The boy was dehydrated and thirsty, but treated and given back to his mother. He is in good condition. |
