UPDATE - Woman Dies After Being Run Over by Truck

BEAR LAKE CO. - On Friday, we told you about five people who were run over by a pick-up truck at Bear Lake.

Now we've learned that one woman has died.

The accident happened when 25-year-old Melissa Peterson was backing-up a Ford F-150 toward an awning on the north shore of the lake.

Investigators say it appears Peterson accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake hitting one person and running over the others.

Michele Pereira of Orem, Utah was airlifted to Mckay-Dee hospital and died late Friday night.

No word yet if Peterson will face any charges.
