Rexburg Bank Robber Asks Judge to Change Sentence

By Nate Eaton

A Montana man who robbed a Rexburg bank three years ago asked a judge to reduce his sentence on Monday.

James Bischoff was charged with felony counts of burglary and robbery after robbing U.S. Bank in March of 2005.

He was sentenced to five to twenty years in prison.

Monday his attorney asked Judge Brent Moss to allow Bischoff early parole. Moss denied the request.
