FIRST ON 3: Armed Robbery; Suspect on the Loose

Tools

By Rick Montañez

Police say a man walked into the Prescription Center on Coronado St. with a gun, and demanded several types of narcotics.

Eyewitness News was first on the scene this morning, reports of the robbery came in just after 9. There were no injuries, and police would not confirm if any drugs or money were taken from the scene. The suspect is still at large and is considered armed and dangerous.

Police don't have an estimated age, but they say he was wearing a blue bandana, sunglasses, and a dark blue jacked that says heartland on it.

He also had a stripe going down his pants...and drove off on an enduro type bike, which can be used on and off road.

If you have any information you are urged to call the Idaho Falls police department. The store is back open and police have cleared the scene.

We will have more information as it becomes available.

This week Gov. Otter signed a bill requiring Idaho to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform. What's your response to this?

  • It's great to see Idaho taking the lead on this. Someone has to stand up to what's happening in Washington.
  • We can't afford to pay for education in Idaho, but we're going to spend tax dollars to sue the feds? Ridiculous.
  • Not sure.
