By Danielle Leigh

Thursday is Peace Officer Memorial Day.

Law enforcement agencies here at home and across the nation are recognizing fellow officers who have risked their lives in the line of duty.

In Idaho Falls, Mayor Jared Fuhriman, officers, members from around the community got together in front of the courthouse for a candle light vigil.

Each candle represented one of the more than 60 officers who have been killed in the line of duty in Idaho.

This week Gov. Otter signed a bill requiring Idaho to sue the federal government if Congress passes health care reform. What's your response to this?

  • It's great to see Idaho taking the lead on this. Someone has to stand up to what's happening in Washington.
  • We can't afford to pay for education in Idaho, but we're going to spend tax dollars to sue the feds? Ridiculous.
  • Not sure.
