Full House at Meth Forum

Full House at Meth Forum

By Danielle Leigh

Handfuls of local teens are now more certain than ever, meth is something they never want to try. that's after attending tonight's family forum on meth abuse.

the two day event ended tonight and was so popular event organizers had to hold two extra sessions to accommodate everyone who wanted to come.

people showed up over an hour early tonight just to get a spot. All four sessions graphically described the harmful affects of meth use..

"We're in communities taking what people see in the ads that captures their attention and furthering their knowledge and understanding about what is this drug how does it impact families and how does it impact local communities," says Megan Ronk, with the Idaho Meth Project.

"I really wanted my kids to get a chance to learn about meth and make sure they understand the consequences and the things it can do," says Local Dad John Witbeck.

The forum was put on by the Idaho Meth Project, EIRMC and Mountain View Hospital.
