Ski Accident Kills Local Man

Fifty-four year old Kent L. Christopher of Rexburg, died Sunday evening from injuries sustained in a ski accident.

According to Teton County, Wyoming Sheriff Deputies, he was skiing at Grand Targhee over the weekend when he ran into a tree. They are not sure how fast Christopher was going at the time of impact. He sustained substantial internal injuries and was airlifted to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in critical condition at the time.

Investigators tell Eyewitness News that he passed away Sunday night at 10:50pm.

Memorial services will be from 1 to 4pm Saturday, in Rexburg under the direction of Flamm Funeral Home.
