Teacher Charged with Lewd Conduct

A local band teacher is behind bars tonight on suspicions of lewd conduct.

31 year old Michael Kee Dann was arrested last night around 9:00 p.m. He is the assistant band director at Highland High School. Pocatello Police have been investigating Dann for allegedly molesting a 14 year old on several occasions at the school.

Right now details are slim. But police say there could be additional victims in the case, and urge anyone to come forward with more information.

The school district has been notified of the arrest. In a statement issued earlier today, officials say, "The district took immediate action to terminate any further relationship between Mr. Dann and the school district."
