Behind the walls of a home in the tiny town of Thomas, you'll hear Stuart Tyler showing his love of music.

Born in Ucon, Stu started his musical talent at a pretty early age.  He practiced while herding cows.

"Time just wore on.  If you didn't entertain yourself some way.  I remember turning around and sitting backwards on the horse while he grazed, I put my elbows on his rump, playing that harmonica," says Stu.

When it was time to try something new, Stu tried guitar, then realized, he could play harmonica and guitar together.

"I just took a wire clothes hanger and made myself a harmonica holder," says Stu.

The musical knowledge advanced when he paid about 15 bucks for a course on learning how to play popular music.

"It took 2 weeks worth to pay for my 30 day course... Best investment I ever made," says Stu.

Stu has written a song, called "Green Christmas Tree."   It's dedicated to those serving in the armed forces.

Stu plays organ every Sunday at church, and he and his wife perform regularly at the Senior Citizens Center in Blackfoot, and even after losing his sight about 8 years ago, he hasn't lost that musical touch.

Playing 4 instruments, when I can't even play one, definitely proves that Stu Tyler ha a Story.
