In this edition of Everybody has a Story, Tommy Noel found someone with the last name of 'Ririe,' and it may him wonder if he has anything to do with the town of Ririe...

"I tell people I designed the city, but I really didn't, my granddad did. It was a great place to grow up," says Max Ririe.

While growing up, Max remembers when the town had a theatre.

"My mother played the music for the old silent films. So we got to go to all the pictures we wanted to," says Max.

Max and his wife started a business called Ag Parts, he's retired now, but still stays busy with his passion.

His degree in agricultural engineering means he loves farm equipment.

"I started driving tractors and running farm equipment when I was 10 years old," says Max.

Max started talking about a bulldozer, and we just had to see this thing.

"I have a 21C Fiat Bulldozer, weighs 42,000 pounds, and I have no need for it," says Max.

And Max Ririe makes a trip to Ririe at least once a week.

"We were driving around Ririe, came back out on Highway 26, to Idaho Falls... Here's flashing lights behind me... The policeman stopped us, came out, got a report that we were driving erratically. I bust out laughing. I told him, 'Everyone one in Ririe drives erratically!'" says Max.

Now the cop let him go without a ticket. Come on, the guy has a town named after him!
