In this week's edition of Everybody has a Story, Eyewitness News Reporter Tommy Noel got a call from a viewer, suggesting we interview a former production staff member, here at KIDK.

This time next week, Vince Chermak will be putting down the guitar and taking on a new role in the Navy.

"I just wanted to advance my education and the Navy provided a lot of that," says Vince Chermak.

Vince's dad actually suggested we do this interview. Dad informed me his son graduated high school at 16, did volunteer work, worked at Channel 3, and hasn't slowed down since.

"At age 17, the day after my birthday, I went down and signed up for the Navy," says Vince.

You can do that at 17, with your parents permission. He soon will head off to Boot Camp.

"That's gonna be fun," says Vince.

He hopes to enter a job of advanced electronics and computers.

"I definitely support the troops. I support the cause. I think it would be a blast to be apart of that. Actually serve my country," says Vince.

When Vince worked at Channel 3, his hair was dark, so I had to ask about the new do.

"Girls like blonde hair. Actually, we just bleached it just for fun. It's all coming off as soon as I go to boot camp," says Vince.

And Vince is a little bummed he'll be at boot camp during the holiday's.

"I think I'll definitely miss Idaho. I'll miss my parents eventually," says Vince.

Eventually being.. Day 2..
