"It's surprising to people, but I think when they see my work, then its like, ok, we can trust you," says Aria Anastasio.

Aria Anastasio's work.. Aside from school, and being a normal teenager is making wedding cakes.

"I do a lot for friends and family. Because I'm really generous, but it can be a money making thing," says Aria.

Aria thought she was first signing up for a simple cooking class with a friend.

"We ended up spending $80 in supplies just that first night and it turned out to be a 12-week course," says Aria.

Still in high school, Aria gets plenty of questions about her age. The recipient of the last cake she baked just had to know...

"She's like, I don't mean to be rude, but how old are you? And so I told her, and she's like 'Oh! You do it through school'," says Aria.

And while I was ready to reach over and take a huge bite of the scrumptious goodness.. Aria has a different take on cake.

"I'm not gonna lie. I hate cake. Really don't like cake at all," says Aria.

I guess in a way, that's a good thing.. It stops those constant taste tests.

And while spending hours on making cakes is fun, the best part is..

"Seeing the brides reaction, for sure," says Aria.

And we can't forget about all the support she's gotten. Dad cleans the kitchen. Mom helps with the baking.

"My friends. They're the ones that stay up with me all night long. Keep me company. Entertain me while I'm working... I really like doing this whole cake thing, so if I'm able to make a career of it, I'd love to," says Aria.
