Event Description

The Greater Bear Lake Valley Chamber of Commerce presents Montpelier Idaho's yearly festival of the butch cassidy bank robbery of the Montpelier Idaho bank. This is free to attend. schedule includes craft and food vendors; carnival; free family games with prizes; pancake breakfast by Super 8 Motel, re-enactment of the butch cassidy shoot-out; book signing of "The Educated Outlaw" by Harvey Murdock; battle of the bands (free event - bands $75 entry fee); bull riding event including mini bulls put on by Elkhorn Ranch and Cattle Corp(ticket event); farmers market put on by City of Montpelier and the Clover Creek Inn; Alaskan salmon bar-b-que by Bear Lake Search and Rescue(ticketed event). visit www.bearlakechamber.org for complete schedule of events. for tickets on bullriding event or battle of the band apps., call (208) 847-0067 or (208) 252-2249; or email lori@bearlakechamber.org for more information.
