Event Description

Elder Abuse is not a myth! In your community, Elder Abuse is going unnoticed, unreported and abusers receive no consequence. You can help by becoming aware. Please join in a Stand-Down against Elder Abuse Saturday, May 17th from 11am to 12 Noon at the Idaho Falls Activity Center, 1575 N. Skyline. Keynote speakers will be Cathy Hart, LSW, Idaho Commission on Aging-State Ombudsman, addressing abuse among the elderly & disabled and Jessica Cahoon, Legal Aid Secretary, talking about the process of guardianship.
