Tony Gugliotta

Tony grew up in Walpole, Massachusetts, a small suburb of Boston. Tony attended Bryant College in Smithfield, Rhode Island and graduated Magna Cum Laude with dual concentrations in Business Management and Communication.

While at Bryant, Tony hosted a radio show for three years on the campus station, WJMF. He also spent a summer as a sports intern at WFXT-TV, Boston’s Fox affiliate. In 2001, Tony was named as one of the college’s five National Communication Arts Award Scholars.

He was a four year member, and two-year captain of the Bryant Ice Hockey team which won the 2001-2002 New England Collegiate Hockey Association championship.

Before heading to KIDK, Tony was employed at WHDH-TV, Boston’s NBC affiliate. In addition, he served as a sports reporter and play-by-play announcer for a cable station in one of Boston’s largest suburbs.

In his spare time, he loves a good book, but especially enjoys the excitement of any athletic event. Tony enjoys running, rollerblading, and golfing in the summer along with skiing and skating in the winter.

Tony brings with him, both a passion for the Boston professional teams and an excitement to be a part of Eastern Idaho’s sports atmosphere.
