Jim Wareham brings 30-years of broadcasting experience to KIDK.

Jim has been a general manager of television stations in Lansing, Michigan... Erie, Pennsylvania... and Columbus, Georgia.

A native of Chicago, Jim graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a degree in communications. He was also on-air as a radio host on two different Chicago FM stations in the 1970’s.

In the 1980”s, he was a national representative with Katz Continental Chicago and sold millions of dollars of television advertising to the largest advertising agencies on behalf of over 60 television stations ranging from San Francisco to Biloxi, Mississippi.

Jim has won national recognition for his community service as a broadcaster and prides himself as a servant to the community.

Jim believes in good journalism and aggressive reporting that is fair and balanced. He worked at both the Chicago Tribune and was a radio news reporter, so he understands and appreciates good reporting.

Jim and his wife Candy reside in Idaho Falls. He loves to read and he is a big baseball fan, but what he loves most is to ride trains. Any trains, Amtrak, tourist trains, especially steam-powered trains. It probably goes back to growing up in the railroad capitol of the world and being born at the Illinois Central Railroad Hospital.
