Gina was raised in Southeast Idaho and has worked in the media industry for over 28 years. She began her career in the radio industry working for her father, Jim Garchow, at KUPI Radio, followed by KWIK/KPKY in Pocatello. She was a media buyer for Competitive Edge in Albuquerque before returning to Idaho Falls in 1990 to work for KIFI Television. Gina joined KIDK in 2000 as Regional Sales Manager and was promoted to General Manager in January 2005. She is on the Board of Directors for the United Way and is the past secretary/treasurer of the Idaho State Broadcasters Association. She is a member of the ISU Bengal Foundation and FAT Club.

Gina’s husband Scott is a teacher and coach in Idaho Falls. They have two children, Katie 20 and Michael 15.
