Tommy joins the Channel 3 team from Albuquerque, New Mexico where he was an Intern and later Associate Producer for KOAT-TV.
He graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico with a major in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Spanish. He won awards for "Best News Anchor" and "Best Hard News Story" while working for the school's news broadcasts. Tommy also had the honor of giving the commencement speech for UNM's Journalism Graduation.

He served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in northern Spain. Tommy loves any opportunity to use the Spanish language, so if you'd like to practice, just give him an "hola!"

Tommy will miss New Mexican green chile and chicken enchiladas but is excited to work and get to know people in Eastern Idaho. Feel free to drop him an e-mail anytime.

While Tommy is not working, he enjoys movies and spending time with friends and family. He is also a big fan of "The Price is Right" but is now sad he's ineligible to be a contestant.
